From 2006 to 2010 at Ceuta she has had eight nests with six different males of which 15 chicks hatched. At least four of her chicks have made it and have been regular breeders at Ceuta. Success this Season: 3 Nests Nest 1: eaten by racoon on 9 May. Nest 2: hatched on 15 June, 2 chicks fledged. Nest 3: flooded on 4 July Sightings of CA1579 Snowy 2 Band number: CA1464 Color Bands: Blue-Metal|Red-Red Sex: Male Status: Enjoying life without hungry chicks around Biography: Marked in 2007 as an adult, he is at least 5 years old. From 2007 to 2009 at Ceuta he has had four nests with four different females of which 9 chicks hatched. In 2010 he was not seen at Ceuta. At least three of his chicks have made it and have been breeders at Ceuta. Success this Season: 2 Nests Nest 1: eaten by racoon on 9 May. Nest 2: 2 chicks hatched on 15 June, 2 fledged 10 July. Sightings of CA1464 Snowy 3 Band number: CA1429 Color Bands: Metal-Red|Yellow-White Sex: Female Status: Changing feathers Biography: Hatched on 1 June 2007 together with two siblings, banded on 6 June. She is 4 years old. Fledged with one sibling who was not seen since. From 2008 to 2010 at Ceuta she had five nests with five different males of which 13 chicks hatched. At least three of her chicks (all females!) have made it and are breeders at Ceuta. Success this Season: Nest 1: 3 chicks hatched on 15 May, 1 fledgling Nest 2: 3 chicks hatched on 19 June, chicks last seen 8 July. Sightings of CA1429 Snowy 4 Band number: CA168 Color Bands: Orange-Metal|LightGreen-DarkGreen Sex: Male Status: Applying for Visa to emigrate to US Biography: Marked in 2006 as an adult, he is at least 6 years old. From 2006 to 2010 at Ceuta he had seven nests with five different females of which 13 chicks hatched. One of his chicks returned as to breed to Ceuta in 2008 but was not seen since. Success this Season: Nest 1: 3 chicks hatched on 15 May, 1 fledgling Nest 2: flooded on 4 July Sightings of CA168 Snowy 5 Band number: CA2368 Color Bands: Green-Metal|Red-LightGreen Sex: Male Status: Hanging out at the beach Biography: Marked in 2011. First time breeder at Ceuta this year. Success this Season: 1 Nest: 3 chicks hatched and 2 chicks fledged Sightings of CA2368 Snowy 6 Band number: CA1276 Color Bands: Metal-Yellow|Blue-White Sex: Female Status: We have no idea what she is doing right now... Biography: Banded on 5 May 2007 with two siblings when she was about 2 days old. All siblings fledged, her sister is also regularly coming to breed at Ceuta.
